Retired Detective Sergeant Michael E. Parrow, Sr., the father of Vikings head baseball coach Josh Parrow, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 13, 2019.
Michael Parrow served his country in the U.S. Army, and the people of Rensselaer County through his law enforcement career with the Sheriff’s Department, Troy Police Department, and most recently, the Rensselaer County Health Department as a medicolegal death investigator. In addition to his law enforcement career, Michael Parrow served the community of Lansingburgh through his dedication to Little League and Pop Warner.
